A Peer Support Specialist will assist and provide expert guidance in the development of a well-thought-out recovery plan, tailored specifically to meet the unique needs of each individual. Throughout the process, sessions will be thoughtfully focused on developing a personalized recovery plan that takes into account the specific challenges and objectives of the individual.
Includes:
Crisis prevention planning: Will ensure that individuals have the tools and strategies in place to effectively handle any potential crises that may arise during their recovery journey.
Strength and barrier assessment: This involves identifying personal strengths that can be leveraged in the recovery process, as well as recognizing potential barriers that may need to be addressed.
Long-term goal development: Clients will work collaboratively with their Peer Support Specialist to set achievable, meaningful goals that promote long-lasting recovery and personal growth.
Self-advocacy strategies: Tools designed to empower individuals to voice their needs and rights effectively within the healthcare system and other areas of their lives.
Medicaid billing available for eligible clients, making this essential support accessible to those who may benefit most from it while alleviating financial burdens.
To book this session you must be at least 18 years of age or older. If you do not meet this age requirement, a parent or guardian will have to take responsibility and book this session on your behalf, ensuring that you have the necessary supervision and guidance to participate fully in the activities planned in this session.
